Enjoy a delicious meal in rustic warmth of Mather Lodge's main dining room while taking in the breathtaking view of scenic, rugged Cedar Creek Canyon. Large windows frame this view from the bluff that's highlighted each evening by a dramatic sunset. This portion of the lodge recently underwent a renovation that replaced the lodge's earlier 1960s-era dining room with a more rustic-style design, expanded the kitchen, added a 50-person room for meetings and small banquets, and relocated the guest registration desk. This renovated portion now mirrors the Adirondack-style park architecture of the 1930s-era original portions of Mather Lodge built by the Civilian Conservation Corps, and expanded by the Works Progress Administration.
The main dining room now seats up to 104 persons. Nearby is a private dining room, the lodge's original dining room dating from the 1930s. This rustic and cozy venue is perfect for small banquets and group retreats.
The restaurant is open daily.
