Pool
Opened seasonally, Petit Jean has two pools to cool off in during those hot summer months. One pool is for cabin and lodge guests only. A modern public pool has recently been renovated and offers summer swimming enjoyment for all ages. A diving board and water slides provide great entertainment. The swimming pool may be rented for private parties before and after normal closing hours (no rental after dark). Lifeguards will be furnished by the park. Picnic
Enjoy a relaxing picnic year round, at a table overlooking the lake or near the playground. Petit Jean provides wooded picnic areas along Lake Bailey and Roosevelt with tables, grills, water and rest rooms. Two group pavilions are available for rent April to October. The Recreation Hall, located near the Visitor's Center, can also be rented for group gatherings. The pavilions and Rec Hall should be reserved in advance by calling 501-727-5441.
Playground
Two playgrounds at Petit Jean offer a retreat for children and young at heart. One is located at the cabin area near Mather Lodge, the other in the picnic area.
