Petit Jean Campground Reservation Requests: Group Facilities
Petit Jean State Park is a prime location for a weekend getaway or a two week vacation. Whether you are staying in a tent or an RV, or you have no camping equipment at all, the park has a place for you. Our Arkansas camping facilities are available throughout the year, so no matter the season, the weather is always great for staying at a Petit Jean campground. Campers may choose from wooded or lake view sites. Pull-through or back-in campsites are available.
The park features 125 individual campsites (including 26 pull-through sites) offering water and electrical hook-ups. Thirty-five of the sites have 50 amp electric and sewer. All sites are reservable throught the year. Sites are divided into four campground areas with modern bathhouses in each one. There is also a 44-unit rally-style camping area with 20 amp electrical service available for camping clubs. A reservable Group Camp Area is available throughout the year with heated bathhouse in winter. A trailer sanitary dump station is located centrally in the campgrounds near the rally-style camping area. Call 501-727-5441 for more information or to make reservations.
For those who don't own camping equipment, the park offers two Rent-A-Camps and two Rent-A-Yurts are available for rental March through November. Each rental includes either the tent or the yurt, sleeping mats, a camp stove, and other camping gear. A Rent-A-Camp sleeps up to four persons, and a Rent-A-Yurt accommodates up to six.
Petit Jean is Arkansas's only state park with its own airport. Aviation enthusiasts are invited to enjoy the airport’s fly-in campground that features five tent sites with water and electric hookups, picnic tables, grills, lantern holders, and tent pads. One site is barrier-free to accommodate visitors with disabilities. This Arkansas camping site includes a modern bathhouse with hot showers and flush toilets.
